This patch can only be applied to System Platform 2023 or an earlier patch release of System Platform 2023. When you install this patch, in addition to new patches in 2023 Patch 04, it installs all patches in earlier patch versions of System Platform 2023, as needed.

AVEVA System Monitor monitors and manages the performance and availability of your AVEVA System Platform system, including the core software, the engineered software application(s), license server and the related hardware and network infrastructure.

System Monitor detects and reports on system performance issues/errors/trends, monitors key system attributes and then generates alerts when those attributes exceed defined tolerance ranges.

When an attribute is out of tolerance, the customer support team (internal or systems integrator) is notified of the upset condition, and can respond quickly in order to prevent production interruption or downtime. The goal is to ensure that your solutions’ performance meets and/or exceeds your expectations.

Refreshed user interface

Important: 32-bit operating systems and 32-bit SQL Server versions are no longer supported. This version of System Platform is only compatible with 64-bit operating systems and SQL Server versions. If you have a 32-bit version of SQL Server, you must uninstall it before installing System Platform.

System Platform will check that an installed SQL version is compatible prior to installation, and will display an error message if the installed SQL Server version is not compatible for any reason (not only for 32-bit versions).

This release of AVEVA System Platform 2020 R2 P01 provides security improvements for storage of sensitive information in memory, along with an increased robustness of application file parsers.
