This patch can only be applied to System Platform 2023 or an earlier patch release of System Platform 2023. When you install this patch, in addition to new patches in 2023 Patch 04, it installs all patches in earlier patch versions of System Platform 2023, as needed.

Several new features, enhancements and fixes have been added in this patch.  Please refer to the Read Me file for details.

This patch is installed as a full installation.

OpenSSL version upgrade

The Communication Drivers Pack now ships OpenSSL version 3.0 along with the existing version 1.1.

OPC UA Methods Support

Client applications can now call methods in an OPC UA server through the OPC UA client in the Gateway Communication Driver.

System Platform 2023 R2 includes several new features, as well as miscellaneous bug and security fixes.  Please refer to the Read Me documentation for details.

This release supports the installation of the Operations Control Logger 23.1. It contains various fixes and improvements since its last release.

AVEVA System Monitor monitors and manages the performance and availability of your AVEVA System Platform system, including the core software, the engineered software application(s), license server and the related hardware and network infrastructure.

System Monitor detects and reports on system performance issues/errors/trends, monitors key system attributes and then generates alerts when those attributes exceed defined tolerance ranges.

When an attribute is out of tolerance, the customer support team (internal or systems integrator) is notified of the upset condition, and can respond quickly in order to prevent production interruption or downtime. The goal is to ensure that your solutions’ performance meets and/or exceeds your expectations.

This version incorporates the following components and enhancements:

• The Licensing platform can be configured in secure mode using the Platform Common Services (PCS) framework.
• Licenses can be reserved using their part numbers.
• New Legacy Support checkbox option in the License Manager to set product compatibility.
• Licensing Help is now hosted on the AVEVA Help Viewer.
• User interface and user experience enhancements.
